Leading a 9th grade football team
The worst part of a football season is the pre-season, also known as two-a-days. Everybody thought it was too hard, too hot, and at times a lot of my friends wanted to quit football. That day, i decided to lead my football team into trying harder, trying to make the team a better team. There was a little amount of water that we were aloud to drink, and there was nothing we could do but suffer. At the beginning of the year of the football season, normally there is no leader, not many people stand out of there confort zone to help the other teamates out. That day, I decided to make my team better and help them get through conditioning. We became a better team off of running harder, and also we had more people to step up to be a leader on the team. The things I did as a leader is to show them to look at the future, if we wanted to be a better football team we would have to condition harder in two-a-days. Instead of being upset and mad to wrong, I was excited and prepared. I had a lot of energy and other people stepped up and joined with me. Not everyone on the team where leaders, there where also followers that just tried to get through the situation, and from that they dont get better. My communication between our team got better, and our team had good communication between our teamates to become closer, and better as a whole.
